This is to inform you that a complaint has been received from the owner of the plot adjacent to our temple car park regarding improper disposal of waste, including used plastic/paper materials, food containers, cigarette butts, etc.

It is suspected that this may be caused by some of the drivers who bring family members for the monthly pujas. With a larger number of vehicles expected on the upcoming Prathishta Dinam, it becomes even more important that we maintain cleanliness, discipline, and good relations with our neighbours.

We kindly request all family members to:

• Please instruct your drivers strictly not to throw any waste in or around the car park or neighbouring plots.
• Ensure that all waste is properly collected and disposed of only in designated dustbins.
• Encourage drivers to maintain cleanliness and decorum within the temple premises and surrounding areas.

Let us all cooperate to keep the temple surroundings clean and uphold the sanctity and dignity of our sacred place.

AS USUAL, COST OF PUSHPAANJALI IS COLLECTED IN CASH AT THE TEMPLE VENUE ITSELF. PLEASE DO NOT SEND IT INTO TRUST ACCOUNT. ALSO PLEASE AVOID PLASTIC CONTAINERS AS THEY GET DAMAGED WITH HOT ‘PAYASAM’. THOSE MEMBERS SPONSORING THE POOJA OF THAT MONTH, PLEASE KEEP THE CONTAINERS FOR ‘PAYASAM’ SEPARATELY NEAR THE WATER PURIFIER SHELF. REMEMBER WE ARE USING ONLY GHEE FOR LIGHTING LAMPS FOR THE DEITY INSIDE ‘SREEKOVIL’. WE HAVE ARRANGED PURE TIL OIL FOR USE OUTSIDE ‘SREEKOVIL’ LIGHTING FOR OUR MEMBERS, FOR WHICH CONTACT TRUSTEES.

AS PUBLISHED EARLIER PRADISHTA DINAM OF OUR TEMPLE IS PLANNED TO BE CELEBRATED ON 25-2-2026  I.E ON WEDNESDAY . TRUST HAS ESTIMATED FOLLOWING EXPENSES FOR VARIOUS ACTIVITIES BASED ON PRESENT DAY COSTS AND EARLIER EXPERIENCE. THE EXPENSES ARE BROADLY AS BELOW-;

ANNUAL PRATHISHTA DINAM OF OUR DIETY 'VANA DURGA' WILL BE CELEBRATED ON WEDNESDAY THE 25th DAY OF FEBRUARY 2026. THIS ADVANCE INFORMATION IS TO ENABLE FAMILY MEMBERS SETTLED IN OTHER STATES OF INDIA TO BOOK THEIR TRAVEL IN ADVANCE. DETAILED PROGRAMME WILL BE PROMULGATED SHORTLY. Dear Kozhikote family Members,

As you may be aware, our Kozhikkottu Kudumba Bharadevatha Trust is completing 34 years of its formation today, the 15^th day of July 2023. Trust was officially formed on 15^th July 1989 by a deed of trust registered in North Paravoor Registrar office. It was formed out of an intense desire and resolve of the family Members to ensure uninterrupted Monthly Pooja of our Bharadevatha ‘VANADURGA’ on 1^st day of each Malayalam calendar. Till then, monthly Pooja was managed by our most respected Gangadharan maman, often putting the necessary fund from his pocket and also collecting fund from other members of the family. After his demise on 31^st December 1988, there was serious concern among many senior and younger members as to how the Pooja can be done in an organized and systematic way. First informal meeting was held in THARAVADU, in the presence of Unnikrishnan, Balakrishna Menon (Balan chettan) Rajan Menon, and Aravindaksha Menon and evolved a proposal to form a trust. Meanwhile, Mr. Achutha Menon (Achukuttammaman), who was employed in Bombay, returned after retirement for permanent settlement in Chendamangalam. He took unto himself the task of forming a family Trust with the able assistance of Balanchettan, who was a lawyer himself. Achukuttanmaman, contributed Rs.1000 towards the Trust formation and Trust deed was registered as no. 183/89 on 15^th July 1989 in the office of Sub Registrar, N.Parur.

The eight founding trustees of the Kozhikkottu Kudumba Paradevatha Trust were-:

On 15^th July 2014, Trust celebrated its 25^th anniversary in the presence of all family Members. The meeting paid respectful regards and tributes to all who took part in the trust formation and in particular honoured Mr. Achutha Menon (Achukuttammaman), the guiding spirit behind it.  

We respectfully acknowledge the sincerity, efforts and resolve of all the founding trustees and exhort the younger generation of family Members to keep up with the spirit of keeping up our traditions.
